The Dining Room Manager is the warm and professional face of our upscale Italian restaurant, responsible for orchestrating a seamless and memorable dining experience.

General Duties:
- Oversee and manage all facets of dining room operations to ensure a smooth and exceptional guest experience.
- Cultivate a culture of excellent customer service and guest satisfaction among the dining room staff.
- Provide training and supervision for all dining room staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the dining room to maintain consistency and high standards.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area to uphold our upscale image.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient and synchronized food service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and prompt manner.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
- Maintain an inventory of dining room supplies and equipment, coordinating with relevant vendors.
- Assist in menu planning and pricing to align with our commitment to quality and authenticity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of full-service restaurant management experience, demonstrating a successful track record.
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Experience in beverage handling and inventory management.
- Wine knowledge is preferred.
- Outgoing and positive attitude, fostering a welcoming environment.
- Ability to handle high-pressure/high-stress situations with grace and composure.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide the dining room team.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures to manage supplies efficiently.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant software.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
