What it is going to take:
The Vice President of Wholesale at Metro Distributors is the mastermind behind our wholesale business, the conductor of our symphony of sales.
You'll be responsible for taking our proprietary brands, exclusive brands, and external distribution brands and turning them into a nationwide (and even international) sensation.
In this role, you'll be leading the charge, refining our strategies, and scaling our business to new heights.
But it's not all about the numbers.
You'll need to have a true passion for our products and a deep understanding of our customers' needs.
You'll be responsible for building strong relationships with our partners, creating buzz-worthy marketing campaigns and developing innovative sales tactics to get our products in the hands of our customers.
Ultimately, this role is about leading our team to success, both in terms of revenue and brand recognition.
You'll be the driving force behind our growth.
Essential Functions:
Drive profitable and sustainable top line sales growth with an underlying commitment to the best brand execution, operational excellence, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
Refine and manage wholesale strategic plan and P&L.
Analyze target markets and develop a new customer acquisition strategy with appropriate systems/pipeline support to scale.
Identify and secure new opportunities with regional, national, and international retailers that align with distribution goals and margin parameters.
Build and sustain strong relationships with new and existing wholesale partners and communicate clear action plans and priorities within customer segments.
Motivate, inspire, and develop sales team and monitor performance through the review of financial targets and KPIs.
Develop and analyze weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reports to make business driving recommendations to sales, inventory, and planning teams.
Establish metrics for discounting, promotions, loyalty, and product performance.
Partner with product, planning and marketing teams on seasonal selling strategy, pre-buy process, assortments, budgets, and financial targets.
Track performance and tailor strategies, materials, and incentives accordingly.
Partner with Marketing on strategy, all go-to-market needs, training, and sales materials.
Collaborate closely with ownership, marketing and sales team on showroom strategy and visual merchandising standards.
Partner with Operations team to ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction, retention, and increased customer revenue.
Together, further develop the wholesale website as a key ordering tool and resource for retailers.

Business training and experience, to lead and manage wholesale business channel; proven results orientation and sales management / P&L responsibility.

Preferred 4-year degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree.
15
years of experience in a wholesale sales management role working with consumer products brand operating in multi-channels.
5
years in a senior leadership role.
Experience successfully leading, managing, and developing teams.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
