Electrical Compliance Engineer

is seeking an Electrical Compliance Engineering to join our growing team.
We are seeking an individual to manage compliance activities, customer and special projects, and process certification efforts.
This role is primarily a project management role, but a strong technical background is necessary to be successful.
You will need prior experience with the certification process for industrial electronics products.
You should be process oriented, a great project manager, and an excellent team player.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading and coordinating product compliance to relevant standards including safety, EMC, functional safety, environmental, and special customer requirements.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, t management, operations, sales to coordinate and execute customer and special projects.
Work with NRTL to coordinate and run certification tests.
Maintain compliance documentation and act as engineering contact for compliance information.
Create customer facing documentation regarding product compliance.
CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience related to electronics (EE degree preferred)5
years of experience with industrial electronics products5
years acting as product manager for industrial electronics products.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.
Experience with NPI processes, Project Management, issue tracking, etc.
Excellent communication skills, especially writing.
Knowledge of codes & standards (NEC, safety, EMC, functional safety, etc.
)Ability to work independently, manage your own time and priorities, strong organizational skills.
Sistema safety software tool.
Standards:
ANSI/RIA 15.
06, UL508A, NFPA79, ISO10218, ISO 13849.
Other engineering skills such as programming, product design, embedded systems development, quality, circuit troubleshooting, experience with electronic equipment, etc.
are always a plus but not required.
