Onsite Position Summary The Facilities Summer Hire applies their educational experience in a real world setting with Taco's Facilities team.
They largely support the members of the Facilities and Maintenance team to help meet company goals.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to the team in various projects and tasks related to the maintenance, operation, and improvement of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manufacturing processes and utilities equipment.
Measures of success:
Updates and marks facility drawings Performs assisted maintenance on time Maintains and organizes inventory levels to keep at minimum on-hand Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Shadows a maintenance tech/engineer and performs assisted general building maintenance under close supervision Performs assisted maintenance and minor repair work and asset cleaning Performs general labor work as assigned by the supervisor Learns to troubleshoot minor HVAC, minor electrical, and maintenance issues Practices safe work habits at all times Organizes work area(s) as needed Qualifications Required:
Junior or Senior enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, or Facilities Engineering Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Basic statistical analysis techniques preferred Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to adhering to safety protocols Work Environment:
This position works in both an office environment using computers and technology as well as the production floor where large equipment and noise are prevalent.
Verbal and auditory capability are required, and safety gear is required in production areas.
This is an onsite position that will require reporting into the building every day.

This position has no direct reports.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
